Brian Burr represents technology companies in a wide variety of complex corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions; patent licensing; joint ventures; and major license, development and commercialization agreements. Burr represents companies in the industries of biotech; pharmaceutical; medical device; discovery sciences and software. Prior to joining B C Burr Law, Burr was a partner in the Silicon Valley office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP where he was the head of the technology transactions practice for seven years. Prior to that he was a partner at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro LLP (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP).

Rob Edwards provides transactional representation to technology companies, including software development and licensing; electronic commerce, Internet services and hosted solutions; legal management of online and offline advertising and marketing programs; and data privacy, open source and consumer protection regulations. He structures and negotiates transactions involving software licensing, trademark and content licensing, ASP arrangements, manufacturing, development, R&D, joint venture, Internet infrastructure, webcasting, digital media, supply and distribution, and security agreements.
